About ADAM
The Antique Dealers Association of Maryland (ADAM) was
established in 1974 by a group of antique dealers whose
goal was to work together to promote the highest standards
in the antique trade and to preserve our state's rich heritage.
ADAM is an alliance of antique dealers working together
to develop a productive climate in which to conduct business.
Member participation over the past years has yielded substantial,
positive results in such diverse areas as legislation, economic
development, tourism, small business growth, education,
and local and state government issues.
ADAM's goal is to unite antique dealers creating a unique
central agency working to improve business and to build
consumer confidence and better community relationship.
ADAM's dedication to legislative issues gives members an
edge on state legislation that affects antique dealers and
public relations of the state, which help to build and strengthen
ADAM's membership.
Through the years, ADAM members have been dedicated to
the enrichment of public appreciation and knowledge of antiques
through projects such as antique shows, designer show houses,
and educational seminars. ADAM members are committed to
a Code of
Ethics which stresses their commitment to integrity in all
business dealings.
